Crisis Medical paramedics responded to a call for a truck that was in flames on the N2 North before Kwa-Mashu shortly after 09:15 this morning.
On arrival paramedics found that a truck had caught alight while travelling North bound. On further investigation it was clear that both occupants of the vehicle managed to escape without any injuries. Paramedics then immediately requested assistance of Ethekwini Metro Fire.
At this stage it still unclear as to what caused the fire, but the necessary authorities on scene will be investigating the incident further.
