Early on Sunday morning, Mi7 Armed Response teams in Port Shepstone received information from a vigilant individual who raised their concerns after seeing a forklift being used to offload items into a bush.
The individual asked Mi7 teams to investigate. When they arrived, they found six truck rims hidden in the bush. Recovering them wasn’t enough. The teams decided to strategically stake out the area in case someone returned to reclaim the items.
However, with nobody returning by daybreak, the items were recovered by the team and handed over to Port Shepstone police.
