KwaZulu-Natal Premier Willies Mchunu and MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison, Mxolisi Kaunda convened a meeting with freight and truck industry owners yesterday (3 May 2018).
The meeting follows the burning of 18 trucks at Mooi River Plaza last Sunday with the purpose to hold open discussions on the way forward.
