Major crash occurred today on the R33, before Dumbe Dam, approximately 5km from Paulpietersburg, KwaZulu-Natal.
The incident involved a passenger bus that lost control and rolled over. Initial reports indicate 70 occupants on the bus, resulting in 8 fatalities, 4 serious injuries, 23 slight injuries, and 28 individuals unharmed.
The bus, was allegedly transporting ANC supporters from Durban to Mpumalanga. The precise cause of the accident is still under investigation . Further updates will be provided as information becomes available.
