Yesterday at approximately 11h00 Emer-G-Med paramedics responded to the scene of a collision involving a minibus taxi and a truck on Schoemanskloof Road.
Reports from the scene are that two occupants of the taxi were found to be entrapped with serious injuries.
Paramedics worked fervently to stabilize them whilst Fire and Rescue services cut them free using the Jaws-of-life.
Once free they were taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further care.
