Northern Cape: Vigilant police members ensured that a suspect was arrested for dealing in dagga at the Nakop Border post.
On Tuesday, 20 September 2016 at approximately 11:00, the driver of a truck, exporting toilet paper from South Africa to Namibia was arrested for dealing in dagga.
Police searched one of the toolboxes inside the truck and found 78kg of dagga stashed inside.
The dagga has an estimated street value of almost R400 000-00 and was confiscated together with a cellphone and the truck.
The 46-year-old suspect will appear in the Upington Magistrates’ Court soon.
The investigation continues.
