Our Tactical Team received information via the CCIN network about stolen truck tyres being offloaded in the Alrode area. The load had been stolen earlier this morning in Benoni.
Our team moved in together with SAPS Highway Patrol and Fox, interrupting the transfer of the stolen load to another Truck. Two suspects were arrested, and the stolen tyres were recovered.
One of the trucks on scene has been confirmed as positively hijacked. SAPS is currently on site coordinating the necessary role players.
