Please be advised that on Wednesday, 15 July 2026 from 07:00, abnormal loads trucks transporting wind turbine components will be travelling from Coega Harbour through Makhanda along the N2 sections 12 and 13 routes to a farm on nthe R350 Bedford road.
The abnormal loads will be escorted by both Provincial Traffic and Vanguard private escorts to ensure safe transportation for both the loads and the public.
Planned Movements:
4 x trucks will be carrying Tower Section.
These vehicles are large abnormal loads and will be travelling at reduced speeds. Road users may experience temporary traffic control measures along the route.
Motorists are requested to:
– Exercise patience and caution when approaching these vehicles.
– Maintain a safe following distance.
– Avoid overtaking and follow the instructions of escort vehicles.
Road users are advised to expect possible delays along the route.
