A truck driver sustained injuries after his vehicle overturned on the N2 KwaMashu off-ramp joining the M25 in KwaZulu-Natal this evening (Wednesday).
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call from a member of the public at approximately 18:03 reporting the accident. Reaction Officers were immediately dispatched and, on arrival, discovered an overturned Volvo horse and trailer.
It is alleged that the driver lost control while negotiating a bend and attempting to avoid a vehicle ahead of him. The truck struck the pavement before overturning.
The driver, who was the sole occupant, sustained injuries to his head and arm.The truck was transporting a container containing goods.
