Just after 12:00 the Volunteer Emergency Medical Response Unit received a call for a truck that overturned in Stonewall Lane in the Faerie Glen area of Pretoria east. On arrival we found that a vehicle with construction materials lost control on a steep downhill and overturned into a streetlamp and road sign.
The driver sustained minor injuries and was treated on scene before being transported to a nearby hospital by a private ambulance. The damage to City of Tshwane infrastructure was reported.
