At 12H30 Monday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the N2 South bound just passed the N2/M41 uMhlanga interchange.
Reports from the scene indicate that a tyre had fallen off a truck, rolling down the N2 before crashing into a light motor vehicle.
An adult female sustained minor injuries in the collision.
She was assessed on scene and transported by another private ambulance service to hospital for further treatment.
