ABNORMAL LOAD MOVEMENT:

Please be advised that on Thursday, 06 August 2026 from 07:30, abnormal load trucks transporting wind turbine components will be travelling from Coega Harbour through Makhanda along the N2 sections 12 and 13 towards a farm on the R350 Bedford road.
The abnormal loads will be escorted by both Provincial Traffic and private escorts to ensure safe transportation for both the loads and the public.
Planned Movements:
3 x trucks will be carrying Blades
These vehicles are large abnormal loads and will be travelling at reduced speeds and road users may experience temporary delays and traffic control measures along the route.
Motorists are requested to exercise patience and caution when approaching these vehicles, maintain a safe following distance, avoid overtaking and follow instructions of the escort vehicles.
