Fidelity Services Group received a call from our SIU Manager regarding a Buscor bus standing in the bush in Rockies Drift by the graveyard.
A white Ford Ranger was parked next to the bus. The SIU was in the Fidelity helicopter when they noticed the bus standing in this area. Team members were notified, and they immediately proceeded to the scene and called for backup.
On arrival, our officer saw the Ford Ranger by the main entrance to the cemetery and the Buscor bus approximately 20m behind it. SIU detained the suspects.
Upon searching the area, about 5 x 25-litre diesel containers were found in the bush. SAPS were notified and arrived at the cemetery.
The bus and the Ford Ranger were booked at White River SAPS.
