On 12th August 2024, the Durban Metro Police Trio Crimes Unit received an alert about a stolen Hyundai H100 signaling in Inanda. The team, already in the area, promptly acted on the information.
The stolen vehicle was spotted in Ohlange, and officers pursued it. During the chase, the vehicle stopped, and the suspects attempted to flee on foot. However, our dedicated officers gave chase and successfully apprehended both suspects, recovering a jammer in their possession.
The suspects and the vehicle were taken to Inanda South African Police Service station for processing. Both suspects are now in custody, thanks to the swift and coordinated efforts of our officers.
