The left southbound lane of the R102 between Verulam & Ottawa is currently closed.
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) and the Metro Police are attending to a single-vehicle accident that has restricted the flow of traffic to one lane.
According to the driver of a car carrier, he had just delivered three Land Rovers from Johannesburg- to Gauteng and was traveling back to Pinetown- KZN when the brakes on his truck failed. The vehicle veered off the road when he attempted to stop the truck.
No injuries were reported.
