While driving on the M1 heading back to the JSPCA, our driver, who had 2 dogs and 3 cats onboard, had a tyre blowout. Luckily our driver managed to pull over to the side of the road and call for assistance. Field officer Jerome rushed over with water for the animals as today we have been experiencing some seriousely hot weather.
We are glad to report that the driver and the animals were unharmed, and the animals were rushed back to JSPCA for medical assesment to ensure there were no injuries.
We are appealing to anyone that can assist us with a new tyre for our bakkie. This vehicle is on the road, every single day and we need to ensure the safety of our drivers and animals.
Tyre size 195/70R15.
If anyone can assist us please send an email to [email protected]
