This morning, one man was killed and thirteen others injured when two taxis, a bus, and a truck collided on the R29 between Leandra and Kinross.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 07h20 to find the Provincial EMS and other services already in attendance. The truck, bus and two taxis were found in the middle of the road, with several patients seen scattered around.

Medics quickly assessed the patients and found that one man had already succumbed to his numerous injuries. Nothing more could be done for him, and he was declared dead. Thirteen other patients were assessed and found to have sustained minor to severe injuries.

The patients were treated, and the critically injured were provided with advanced life support interventions before they were transported to nearby hospitals for further care.

The details surrounding this incident are unknown, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
