Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on scene to find that two vehicles had collided on the South bound carriageway before one vehicle went through the center mediem and overturned coming to rest on its side on the North bound carriageway. A father and child believed to be eleven years old sustained serious injuries and were stabilised on scene byAdvanced Life Support Paramedics before being transported to a nearby Durban hospital for the further Care that they required.
One lane of the North bound carriageway was closed off while emergency services worked on the injured and for the recovery.
At this stage events leading up to the crash are unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
