A fatal of two pedestrian vehicle accident was reported at R21 Northbound opposite OR Tambo. The men were killed by an articulated truck while crossing a busy road, both were declared dead by private ambulance service.
Scene was under Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) officers for further investigation.
Pedestrians fatalities remain a huge concern on the freeways. We urge pedestrians to use pedestrians bridges or cross at designated areas. Pedestrian are NOT permitted to cross or walk on the freeways.
