A heavy vehicle overturned on the N2 near Stormsvlei this morning, 12 November, and is currently blocking both directions of traffic.
According to information from the road authorities, the road is closed for the foreseeable future, and motorists are advised to use alternative routes.
Road workers and emergency personnel are busy on the scene clearing up the situation, but it is warned that significant delays are inevitable.
Motorists travelling in the area are urged to be patient and follow traffic officer instructions until the road can be reopened safely.
