This morning at 5am, while on the N2 South Bound before the Oribi Toll, our Fidelity SIU noticed a truck that was up in flames.
Fidelity Services Group team immediately doubled back to assist the distressed driver and crew.
With the help of bystanders, the truck and a section of the road were blocked off to safely make use of the extinguisher which successfully put the fire out.
Shortly after, Fire and Rescue arrived and continued to work on the truck to make sure underlying flames were not present.
Well done the team and thank you for your swift response and vigilance which helped to save the vehicle from any further damage!
