Oudtshoorn Fire Department quickly brought the fire under control after a truck apparently transporting furniture caught fire.
The incident occurred shortly after 23:00 at the intersection of Hoogstraat and Voortrekker Road.
The cause of the fire, as well as the well-being of the truck driver, is unknown.
