Emergency services were called to reports of a heavy goods truck that left the road and crashed into a high tension power line on the N8 west of Bloemfontein yesterday evening.
On arrival paramedics found the truck off the road with several broken high tension power lines on the scene.
On further inspection it was found that the driver had sadly passed away and he was declared dead on the scene.
It is suspected that he succumbed to a medical condition, causing the accident.
Various services attended the scene.
