Netcare 911 responded to a collision on the N3 before the Shongweni off-ramp, Durban West Region.
Reports indicate that the driver of a heavy motor vehicle lost control, resulting in a roll-over down an embankment.
Medics assessed the scene and found the driver of the truck, also the only occupant, had sustained minor injuries.
The patient was treated on the scene and stabilised, the patient was transported by ambulance to the hospital for further care.
