A truck driver and two other people from the car are lucky to escape after the truck and car collided before both vehicles ploughed down an embankment alongside the N2 South Bound just before Spaghetti Junction earlier today just after 10 am.
Rescue Care Paramedics responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a truck and a small car on the N2 earlier today. On their arrival, paramedics found that a truck and a car had collided and both vehicles had ploughed down the embankment Three people were lucky to have escaped with moderate injuries and were treated on scene and then transported to the hospital by Ambulance for the further care they required.
At this stage, the exact cause of the collision is unknown however SAPS and the necessary authorities were on the scene and will be investigating further.
