A truck that was transporting boat outboard engines, among others, was involved in an accident on the N2 highway at the turn-off to Herolds Bay.
The number of occupants and their injuries have not yet been established.
It appears that the truck connected with the road barrier on the left side marking the start of construction area, before swerving across the road and coming to a standstill.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
