A 46 year old man suffered moderate injuries after a Nissan UD mechanical horse and trailer overturned while he was tipping a load of sand at a business in Phoenix – KZN a short while ago.
At approximately 17:50 members of Reaction Unit South Africa were called out the the scene by employees of the business requesting assistance for the trapped driver who’s leg was stuck in the door frame. Upon arrival RUSA Medics entered the truck, which was lying on its side, and broke the windscreen.
A heavy duty crane was used to lift the vehicle and free the driver. He was treated on scene for his injuries before being transported to hospital in a stable condition.
It has not been established at this stage as to what had caused the truck to overturn.
