Transnet Engineering (TE) hosted an Industry Day at the Koedoespoort Plant in Pretoria. The event provided a platform to engage with key stakeholders and showcase TE’s unique capabilities.
TE Chief Executive, Bessie Mabunda delivered a presentation on their business strategy and vision. She outlined how TE is positioning itself to become the preferred technical service provider for the Leasing Company (LeaseCo), leveraging its eight core businesses – including Locomotives, Wagons, Coaches, Wheels, and Rolling Stock, among others.
The TE leadership team also participated in a panel discussion highlighting the importance of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence in supporting the evolving needs of the industry.
With strategic regional positioning, integrated Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) capabilities, and a strong focus on innovation and intellectual property, TE is well-equipped to deliver world-class products and services across the rail sector.
