As we continue with the festive season operations, the TMPD Public Transport Unit has been working tirelessly to ensure the safety and compliance of all vehicles operating for rewards across Tshwane.
During recent operations in Olivenhoutbosch and Pretoria Central, a total of 19 vehicles were impounded for operating without the required licenses in contravention of the National Land Transport Act (NLTA). Among these vehicles were 3 food delivery motorbikes, which were found to be operating without permit.
It is imperative that all operators adhere to the regulations set out by the NLTA to ensure the safety and efficiency of our public transport system. The TMPD will continue to enforce these regulations to maintain order and safety on our roads.
