JMPD TRU officers received information about a truck allegedly offloading a white substance at Shaft 17 Street, Crown Mines. They proceeded to the specified location & found five males offloading goods.
The officers requested documentation & receipts for the goods. The suspects failed to produce any form of documentation. Upon further investigation it was discovered that the stock had been stolen from a warehouse in Booysens.
A total of 110x bags were recovered at the scene. It was further established that additional bags had already been offloaded in North West before the suspects proceeded to the above-mentioned address.
All 5x suspects were arrested & detained at Langlaagte SAPS.
