Katlholo Molapo (47) appeared in the Mmabatho Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 21 October 2026, facing charges of possession of drugs and dealing in drugs.
The accused was arrested by members of the Mmabatho-based Serious Organised Crime Investigation on Tuesday, 20 October 2026, following information received about a truck loaded with suspected dagga at NWK Buhrmannsdrif Grain Silo in Mahikeng.
Upon arrival at the scene, members of the Serious Organised Crime Investigation allegedly found the truck loaded with 13 bags of dagga with an estimated value of over R2 million. The driver of the truck was subsequently arrested and charged with possession of drugs and dealing in drugs.
The accused appeared in court and his matter was postponed to 28 October 2026 for a formal bail application.
