Eight shipping containers recovered by Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) last Thursday (18/12/2025) have been removed from the scene earlier today (Tuesday).
Seen in the video is the last of the shipping containers belonging to Evergreen (Taipei – Taiwan) was removed to the Durban – KZN depot.
Pacific International Lines (Singapore) removed four (4) twelve-meter containers also recovered on the same property.
Reaction Officers recovered the stolen shipping containers after receiving a tip off from an off-duty Police Officer. The RUSA drone was launched & the serial numbers were zoomed in, recorded and matched with a batch of 18 shipping containers that were stolen from two (2) different storage yards in October & December 2025. Some of the contents of the containers were listed as agricultural equipment destined for China – Asia.
Ten (10) of the shipping containers are still sought after on SAPS Umlazi CAS 193/10/2025 and SAPS Brighton Beach CAS 134/12/2025.
