Acting on a tip-off the EMPD’s Cable Theft Unit recovered stolen municipal copper cables on Saturday, 13 August.
Officers proceeded to a warehouse where copper cables worth around R50 000 were recovered in Windmill Park.
No arrests yet have been made.
Investigations continue.
