The TMPD tactical unit pulled over a truck at R55 in Pretoria west near a scrap yard.
The truck seemed to be loaded with pressed recycled cans but upon closer and more inspection, the officers discovered that the truck was loaded with bags of copper cables, the driver and his accomplice were arrested for possession of suspected stolen copper cables.
The copper cables found has an estimated street value of 4,8 Million Rands
