A sinkhole incident occurred opposite Huletts, likely caused by a leaking underground water pipe. As a truck passed over the area, the ground gave way, and the truck sank.
The incident happened around 4-5 am, and SA Inland Transport is currently unable to access their yard due to the blocked road.
The underground leaking pipe probably caused erosion of the soil, leaving a weak layer on top. When the truck drove over it, the ground collapsed, resulting in significant damage to the truck and a nearby underground dwelling. Fortunately, no lives were lost in the SA inland logistics.
