Seven people were injured in a collision between a truck and taxi in Annan Road in Carletonville this evening.
ER24 and provincial paramedics arrived on scene and found that the taxi had crashed into a fence.
Upon assessment of the patients, all of whom were travelling in the taxi, it was found that they sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
They were treated and transported to local hospitals for further medical care.
The exact cause of the incident is unknown. Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
