A heavy motor vehicle crash was reported on the B2 Hifikepunye Pohamba Freeway [road behind the dunes] approximately 3 km from the C28 turnoff this evening.
A truck with lithium ore overturned and both lanes towards Walvis Bay are closed to traffic.
Emergency and essential services are at the scene with a recovery team also in attendance.
Currently unable to determine if any injuries were sustained in the crash.
