Members of Reaction Unit South Africa were dispatched to the M65 outside the King Shaka International Airport after receiving reports of a truck that overturned this morning.
Upon arrival an Isuza flat bed truck loaded with rice was found lying on its side. The driver sustained moderate injuries while two other occupants were not injured. The injured man was stabilised on scene before being transported to Osindisweni Hospital.
It is alleged that the driver failed to negotiate a sharp bend causing the truck to overturn.
