Limpopo – This the 3rd head on crash reported in the Province in which reckless arrogant drivers overtook vehicles on a barrier line facing oncoming traffic. In the last 48 hours at least seven people lost their lives in these crashes. This is driver error and only driver attitude can prevent this type of crash.
Today on the R71 near Veekraal , Mopani District , a Nissan Caspa medium truck overtook a vehicle on a barrier line and crashed head-on with a Nissan 1400.
The driver of the Nissan 1400 totally innocent is deceased and three passengers, three of the deceased is from one family.
The driver and passenger of the medium truck sustained very serious injuries, 3 passengers of the 1400 bakkie sustained light injuries.
SAPS: Haenertsburg is investigating the crash.
