Gauteng Traffic Police, along with Wardens Saturation (STT EC), SAPS Flying Squad, SAPS Highway Patrol, and EMPD STT, responded to a business robbery in Germiston where suspects made off with 30 pallets of groceries worth R5.5 million, using an 8-ton K2500 truck and a Toyota Hilux.
Information led officers to Kaalfontein, Tembisa, where they recovered the stolen stock, the VW Polo taken during the robbery, and the Toyota Hilux used in the crime.
Three suspects were arrested on the scene.
