On the 2nd of March the Traffic Police Services in Limpopo alerted road users to safety threats in the Steelpoort area:
“Limpopo – Steelpoort: R37 are blocked please use alternative routes to Lydenburg. Avoid Burgersfort or Steelpoort. People are burning tyres and throwing stones.”
