Members of Operation Vala Umgodi in Limpopo, nabbed two suspects aged 21 and 25 for possession of suspected stolen properties at Modjadjiskloof Policing area in the Mopani District, on Wednesday, 16 April 2025 at around 04:00.
According to information, the members were on operation Vala Umgodi when they noticed a suspicious white Isuzu bakkie along the road with four occupants, including the driver. They stopped the vehicle, while approaching it, two of the suspects jumped out and fled from the scene.
Two suspects were then cornered, and upon searching the vehicle, Police found different items such as 44x blankets, 7x Duvet /Comforters, 2x Couch covers, 6x grey curtains, and a white Isuzu bakkie, amongst other items. All the items were seized.
The suspects were arrested after they failed to produce necessary of the properties in their possession.
Three suspects aged between 24 and 35 were arrested separately for contravention of immigration act at Makhado and Giyani Policing areas.
The suspects will soon appear before the local Magistrate’s Court.
The Police investigations are ongoing.
