Two people sustained minor to moderate injuries after a taxi rear-ended another vehicle, resulting in a five car pile-up. It’s reported that the four cars were stationary at a red traffic light, when the taxis brakes failed.
Yesterday afternoon at approximately 12:15 Emer-G-Med’s M03 and A01 responded to the incident, which occurred on the corners of Witkoppen and Riverbend – in Northriding.
The two patients were treated at the scene before being transported to a nearby facility for further care.
