A silver Nissan Almera collided into the rear of a TATA truck at the Palmview traffic lights on the R102 in Phoenix – KZN today (Wednesday, 05/08/2026).
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call for assistance and immediately dispatched Reaction Officers.
According to the truck driver, he was turning from the R102 towards Phoenix – KZN when the Nissan Almera allegedly approached at high speed and collided with the rear of the truck.
The truck was not damaged. The Nissan Almera sustained extensive front-end damage.
No injuries were reported.
