At 12h27 on Monday afternoon Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a collision along the Delmas Road near the Rietvlei nature reserve. Reports from the scene indicate that the vehicle collided with a heavy goods truck. Exact detail to the cause however will remain a subject for police comment.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found the wreckage of the vehicle at the side of the roadway wedged against a pole. They took their equipment and raced over to the vehicle only to learn that the driver was standing on the roadway talking on his phone Medics checked the patient for injuries but found that he Miraculously escaped from the carnage uninured..
