Midlands EMS crews were dispatched to the N3 northbound between Cedara and Merrivale in response to a bus fire involving a transport service.
Upon arrival, crews found the bus had caught alight due to unknown reasons.
Thankfully, all patients on board were successfully evacuated, and no injuries were reported.
Authorities are currently on scene, and a significant backlog of traffic is reported in the area.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution and expect delays.
