Medi Response joined BAC Helicopters at Lenmed eThekwini Heart Centre earlier today, to bring some excitement to a special patient.
A young Leukemia patient has been bound to hospital for months. In addition to being a brave fighter, he is also an enthusiast of helicopters.
It was arranged that a helicopter fly out and land at the hospital and the young man had the opportunity to interact with the aircraft and ask the pilot questions. It was certainly the silver lining to an average winters day.
Thank you to all that made this occasion possible. We wish the young patient ongoing strength and courage.
