Ten (10) people sustained injuries after a minibus taxi allegedly failed to halt at a stop street and collided with a truck on Belladonna Road in Cornubia – KZN this afternoon (Wednesday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) leaving the scene of a collision approximately 400 meters away were routed to a second mass casualty scene in the area. On arrival at approximately 17:17, Reaction Officers discovered a white Toyota Hiace and a white Nissan UD truck involved in the crash. The injured were stabilised on the scene and expedited to hospital by ambulance.
The driver of the minibus was also injured.
