A man, believed to be 50-years-old, was knocked down by a truck on the N1, about 7 kilometers outside of Worcester towards De Doorns last night.
At approximately 19h00, ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene and saw the man showing no signs of life.
Unfortunately, there was nothing paramedics could do for the man and he was declared dead on the scene.
Local authorities were on the scene to conduct an investigation into this incident.
