A man has been seriously injured after two trucks collided on South Coast Road before Edwin Swales Drive today just before 12:30pm.
Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on scene to find that two trucks had collided in the busy roadway. Paramedics found a passenger to have sustained serious injuries. He was stabilised on the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital under Advanced Life Support care. The entire roadway was blocked whilst emergency personal worked to stabilise the man.
At this stage it is unclear what caused the two trucks to collide however the necessary authorities were on scene and will be investigating further.
